Key Performance Areas:

As a Junior Buyer, you will work as a member of the Supply Chain Team at our Palm Coast Manufacturing Facility. You will be responsible to purchase materials and supplies to support all operations of the business. Purchases will be made at the best possible price while maintaining the highest level of quality and ensuring timely delivery.

Requirements:

• Process Purchase Requisitions

• Create Purchase Orders in M3 and Manually

• Exhibit good interpersonal skills to get along with co-workers and outside suppliers

• Ability to analyze inventory movements/transactions in MRP

• Maintain compliance with company and departmental purchasing policies and procedures

• Participate in Physical Inventories

• Participate in Inventory Cycle Counts

• Cross train in Shipping and Receiving to be a back-up when needed in those departments

• Other duties as assigned

Experience

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs on regular basis, 50 lbs on occasion

• Math Skills: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Counting and Measuring

• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet browsers, E-mail and business systems software.

• Cooperative team player and positive attitude is a must.

• Minimum of 2 years prior inventory control or purchasing experience

Education

• GED or High School Diploma
