Sourcing and Customer Service Specialist

The position would directly report to General Manager, below please refer to the job description:

Key performance area:

  • Taking care customer order tracking and communicating cross function within E8911 and sales units from order to cash.
  • ERP/ CRM system operation for daily work
  • Prepare related documentation required for customer orders and follow payment (AR) for all orders.
  • Conduct research on potential suppliers and vendors; promotions, and other industry trends as a source of accurate and up-to-date information for purchasing activities.
  • Conduct sourcing from qualified suppliers, monitor potential deviations and drive for achievement of agreed corrections.
  • Assist on developing procurement-specific sourcing strategies, processes and analysis reports under the supervision of the manager.
  • Enter data into databases or other computerized systems to maintain up-to-date supplier and vendor information; to process purchase requests and orders; and to generate purchasing reports and statistics.
  • Monitor the quality and timeliness of materials and goods supplied; follow-up the status of purchase orders with vendors to ensure timely delivery; and communicate status of orders with internal customers.
  • Make sure contracts be developed and implemented in good manner, related parties be well communicated by contract details, expiration noted and renewed within defined timeframe.
  • Documents like contracts, supplier qualification files, work reports and so on are managed and archived in good orders.
  • Apply and implement Sandvik policies, guidelines and procedures in all sourcing, purchasing and contract management activities to ensure compliance at all levels.
  • Secure suppliers fulfilment of Sandvik Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery Compliance.
  • Assigned task/ projects from line manager.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering or manufacturing related field.
  • Proved knowledge of trade compliance and contract law is required.
  • At least 1 years experienced in sourcing and procurement job. Customer service experience will be a plus.
  • Experience in multinational companies would be preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication in Mandarin and English.
  • Logical thinking, good at data analysis and problem solving. Good EQ.
  • Well understand the knowledge of purchasing policy, principle and process;
  • Self-motivated, results driven, and ability to take initiatives
  • Excellent team work and collaboration skills
  • Basic knowledge of international trading.

  • Able for business travel in case any needs.
