Sandvik Coromant in the UK is looking for a Manufacturing Account Manager

The purpose of the Account Manager role is to initiate and drive commercial activities, to develop, grow and maintain accounts by strengthening existing relationships and developing new ones through successful account planning. You will be responsible for driving the sales within a portfolio of customers and authorized channel partners ensuring appropriate sales development activities and targets are delivered. You would be expected to take market share by promoting our full offer of cutting tools, digital solutions, and services. In this role you will coordinate with our Application Specialists and support functions to deliver value adding solutions and generate cost savings for our customers. You will also be data driven and tasked with supporting sales management in providing accurate forecasts, budgets, and targets.

We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial Manufacturing account Manager with a strong track record for high performance. We are looking for someone with a metal cutting background with engineering cutting tools skills and knowledge. You’ll need a proven track record in delivering good business results and be experienced in commercial negotiations. Previous experience from Account Management or other Field Sales based positions is desirable as well as knowledge of managing relationships with industrial customers.
