The Territory Sales Manager (P&S) will be responsible for developing customer relationships and an effective sales team to execute the sales strategy, identifying, and following up on sales opportunities, meeting required revenue targets, driving profitability results, and gaining market share in the region assigned.

What you will be doing

  • Know and understand customer business, market challenges and competitor presence.
  • Provide significant input into strategic plans for the continued expansion of revenue within the area and in the region.
  • Develop a method of collecting and analyzing technical design recommendations in order to bring them to market.
  • Draw upon technical sales expertise to drive forward automation and digitalization initiatives.
  • Work with internal stakeholders on customer strategies that will affect the revenue and profitability of the business.
  • Recruit, mentor, motivate, train, evaluate, lead and coach sales team members (where appropriate) to accomplish the goals and objectives.
  • Managing, developing and expanding customer relationships and new business.
  • Assist with project proposal preparation.
  • Growth and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.
  • Review competitors’ offerings and prices to determine strategies to improve market penetration.
  • Utilize synergies with the other businesses and all other resources in the Region.
  • Ensure the best Territory Management and market coverage.
  • Develop relationships with Dealers at all levels and set targets for sales and provide the support that will continually improve the relationship.
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.

What you will bring along

  • Commercial, Technical or Business qualification
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in Sales Management
  • Strong knowledge of equipment, tools and technical solutions used in the mining and construction industry supported by formal education in a technical field such as Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of the mining industry
  • Extensive experience in managing customer relationships
  • Well-developed understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical mindset
  • Proven time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Highly motivated, result oriented and self-driven, with a sense of urgency
  • The role requires willingness and ability to travel as required, up to 75% of the time
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Vos tâches

  • Connaître et comprendre l’activité du client, les défis du marché et la présence de la concurrence.
  • Contribuer de manière significative aux plans stratégiques pour favoriser l’expansion continue des revenus dans la zone et la région assignées.

  • S’appuyer sur l’expertise technique de vente pour faire avancer les initiatives d’automatisation et de numérisation.
  • Travailler avec les parties prenantes internes sur les stratégies clients qui auront une incidence sur le chiffre d’affaires et la rentabilité de l’entreprise.
  • Recruter, guider, motiver, former, évaluer, diriger et encadrer les membres de l’équipe de vente (le cas échéant) pour atteindre les objectifs.
  • Gérer, développer et renforcer les relations avec les clients actuels et les nouveaux clients.
  • Aider à la préparation des propositions de projets.
  • Développer et conserver les comptes existants en présentant de nouvelles solutions et de nouveaux services aux clients.
  • Examiner les offres et les prix des concurrents afin de déterminer des stratégies pour améliorer la pénétration du marché.
  • Tirer parti des synergies avec les autres entreprises et toutes les autres ressources de la région.
  • Assurer la meilleure gestion du territoire et la meilleure couverture du marché.
  • Développer des relations avec les concessionnaires à tous les niveaux, fixer des objectifs de vente et fournir le soutien qui permettra d’améliorer continuellement les relations.
  • Accomplir les autres tâches assignées par le gestionnaire.

Ce que vous apporterez

  • Qualification commerciale, technique ou d’affaires.
  • De 5 à 7 ans d’expérience minimum en gestion des ventes.
  • Connaissance approfondie de l’équipement, des outils et des solutions techniques utilisés dans le secteur minier et de la construction, étayée par une formation formelle dans un domaine technique tel que l’ingénierie.
  • Solide connaissance de l’industrie minière.
  • Vaste expérience de la gestion des relations avec les clients.
  • Bonne compréhension de la dynamique et des exigences des clients et du marché.
  • Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication écrite et verbale.
  • Esprit analytique.
  • Compétences avérées en matière de gestion du temps et d’organisation.
  • Maîtrise des applications Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Très motivé, orienté vers les résultats et autonome, avec un sens de l’urgence.
  • Être disposé à voyager et en être capable selon les besoins, jusqu’à 75 % de son temps de travail.
  • Doit être légalement autorisé à travailler au Canada.
