Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions (SRP) is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a global leading supplier of equipment and tools, services and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries. We are now looking for Sales Engineer for this team.
The Sales Engineer has responsibility for maintaining, growing and developing local business, primarily through close customer contact within the allocated area of responsibility. The main requirement is to achieve the sales and profitability targets, established in agreement with the Sales Manager, working in line with current strategy and guidelines.
-Responsible for crushing and screening equipment sales, developing construction and mining projects opportunities following up.
-Reporting and following all equipment opportunities with using tools such as Salesforce / CRM etc.
-Provide a high level of customer service, working closely with other members of the team as required.
-Create and examine customer needs, orders, offers/quotations and provide these to the customer promptly and efficiently.
-Develop customers to increase their full potential and to maximum efficiency.
-Maintain close customer contact with regular visiting.
-Gather and feed back market intelligence, eg price levels, competitor activities, market trends, new products.
-Work on own initiative, but also to work as an efficient team member, providing support and assistance where required.
-Pro-active communication with customer service responsible it is essential to change out regular the information and gives the necessary feed back to customer service.
-Active participation in Training sessions, seminars, sales meetings, area meetings, Info days etc..
-Good command of English, both written and spoken.
-Problem solving and result oriented.
-Able to regular travel and work overtime when needed.
-Completed military service for male candidates.
-Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
-Strong communication, co-operation, interpersonal and presentation skills to manage internal and external interfaces.
-Strong leadership and relationship building skills.
-High capable of multi tasking work on several project at one time.
Familiarity with crushing and screening equipment and plant solution applications in mining and construction business combined with a minimum of one to three years sales or project experience is must.
-Mining or Mechanical Engineering degree, BSc or above.
-Must have a valid driver’s license.
