We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team based in Perth. The Technical Sales Specialist will work closely with customers to provide specific knowledge aimed at increasing productivity, identifying aftermarket sales opportunities within the Pilbara region and recognize current and new business opportunities as well as sales development.
This role is a full-time position, however Sandvik recognises the desire for flexible working options.
Areas of responsibility
Provide sales support relevant managers within the Sales Team (incl. leads, sales calls, presentations and training).
Create business development plans and targets in collaboration with Sales Managers.
Conduct market analysis including data coordination, research and design engineering to assist with the development of new product offerings and presenting competitive analysis information to the Sales Team.
Work alongside the Sales Team to identify long and short-term goals and ensure that product priorities are in alignment with Company goals.
Participate in the development and implementation of plans and actions in accordance with global and regional initiatives and guidelines.
Work closely with customers to provide process improvement advise and support on relevant applications.
Seek new customer opportunities by utilizing Sandvik break-in offerings.
Provide internal stakeholders with regular status reports on business activities, opportunity development and overall satisfaction of customer base, while recognizing aftermarket opportunities and issues and act as the liaison with customer through to completion.
Provide accurate and insightful reporting on CRM for all visits and meetings.
We are looking for someone with excellent customer relations and active listening skills, Strong written and verbal communications. You have the ability to utilize assigned resources and networks to achieve or exceed planned outcomes, while a high focus on achieving outcomes and driving results.
Experience within the mining &/or Construction industry OR exposure to crushing & screening equipment maintenance is an advantage. Mechanical Trade, Leadership or Project Management Certification will look favoured upon. Additionally, you must have a valid driver’s license and a right to work in this location to apply for this job.
