The role

Sandvik is currently looking for multiple experienced and self-motivated Drill Fitters to join our WA team on a FIFO basis ex Perth. Relocation support offered to those looking to move to WA.

These roles can be offered on an 8/6. 2/2 or 2/1 roster to suite your lifestyle.

As a Sandvik Surface Drill Fitter you will:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs to Sandvik Surface Drills and components

  • Perform diagnostics and fault finding on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and automation systems at our customer sites

  • Provide product support to customers as needed

  • Embrace new technologies to improve customer ownership experience

  • Work with a dedicated regional support team to create new opportunities

Your Profile

  • Relevant Trade qualifications

  • Experience maintaining Surface Drilling equipment – Sandvik equipment preferred

  • Problem solving, diagnostic and trouble shooting skills

  • Strong and proven safety culture

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to providing quality customer service

  • Computer literacy

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, reference checks, police checks and regular onsite drug & alcohol testing

  • You must have the right to work in Australia
