The role

Working from our Australian Head Office branch at Milton, this role is proactively involved in providing industry leading sales support which exceeds customers’ expectations, fosters customer loyalty and positive customer experiences. This role is pivotal to the success of our business and most importantly will add value to our customers operations.

This is a 12 month fix term contract, with the opportunity to extend or go Permanent.

As a Customer Sales Support Representative, you will: -

  • Be allocated a primary and secondary customer base to build and maintain a strong rapport
  • Provide customer service via inbound/outbound calls and via email
  • Maintain records via Salesforce CRM (Customer Relation Management system)
  • Provide quotations for the supply of parts and assist with processing a high volume of customer orders
  • Work within various E-commerce systems to handle EDI transactions between Sandvik and the customer
  • Review, coordinate and follow up with our supply chain network on outstanding back orders
  • Review and monitor suspended customer orders daily
  • Maintain working knowledge of products and their functions for your respective customer groups
  • Investigate and resolve delivery and order related inaccuracies
  • Provide low level technical assistance to customers or refer customers with high level technical queries to the Parts and Service Sales Representatives or Technical Support Team
  • Prioritise your workflow based upon critically of customers’ requests
  • Meet set KPI’s surrounding customer service and business requirements

Your profile

A customer service professional with a passion for delivering excellent customer service, you have a great work ethic which is honest, professional and demonstrates integrity. As a member of a team, flexibility and adaptability to change are some of the essential qualities you will bring to ensure your success. You will enjoy being part of a team who work collaboratively as well as autonomously. Excellent phone manner with the ability to build strong business relationships with customers. Must be adaptable and have a can-do attitude.

This is a permanent role that requires flexibility around start and finish times to enable us to provide service to the differing time zones from New Zealand to Western Australia. We have established a remote working and in office schedule which enables to provide a healthy work life balance.
