The role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and strong performing HD Fitter or light vehicle mechanic to join our Field Service team based in Bendigo, VIC.

As a HD Fitter, you will be performing inspections, preventative maintenances, and repairs of a range of specialist mining equipment, incl. a range of Trucks, Drills and Loaders, their subcomponents and their hydraulic, electrical and automation systems at our customer sites.

The role will be based on 5 days on, 2 days off, however variation to this roster may be required occasionally roster from Bendigo, where you will be traveling to different customer sites across Victoria.

Your Profile

  • Australian recognized Mechanical Trade Certification is required
  • Demonstrated previous experience with Trucks, Loaders and Drilling mobile mining equipment would be a distinct advantage
  • Strong and proven safety culture
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service focus and motivation and determination to achieve targets and goals
  • Proactive, self-motivated and demonstrate initiative
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Class C Manual Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, reference checks, police checks and regular onsite drug & alcohol testing
