The role

As the Service Contracts Specialist, you will play a key role in representing Sandvik managed as you will be responsible for the affective execution of Service Contracts in your region. You will engage with Customers and site-based service personnel to ensure contracts are managed according to the agreement, including adherence to contract terms and conditions, agreed deliverables, key performance indicators, value delivery and reporting requirements.

This role is a full-time requirement, however Sandvik recognises the desire for flexible working options. Flexible employment arrangements include condensed working weeks, working from home, flexible start/finish times, etc.

Areas of responsibility

  • Support the provision of a collaborative cross functional Service Contracts stakeholder engagement.

  • Engage Customer and internal stakeholders to deliver on the agreed contract scope and daily operational requirements.

  • Participate in and drive change management requirements to ensure systems and processes are effective and efficient.

  • Assist Service Contracts Manager in overseeing the facilitation of Service Contract planning services to ensure delivery of scope.

Your profile

  • Relevant experience (supervisory or above) within the mining industry, with a history working directly with a mine site.

  • Technical trade or project management qualification with direct mobile maintenance experience is highly preferred.

  • Exposure to mobile plant asset management (planning and scheduling).

  • Understanding of logistics and parts management processes.

  • Ability to negotiate with clients with a strong focus on fact-based decision making.

  • Contract management including operational risk identification and rectification as well as budget adherence and reporting.

  • Regular travel to site is a requirement for the role.
