The Parts & Service Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and supporting aftermarket sales opportunities within a defined customer base and taking responsibility for sales development where business opportunities exist.

What you will be doing
Developing sales opportunities for all Sandvik Mining product lines, with a focus on aftermarket products and support.
Performing gap analysis on existing fleet to identify sales opportunities, maintain fleet and conduct quarterly audits.
Participating as a key member in an account or sales team.
Assessing customers’ total potential with Sandvik Mining products by performing opportunity analysis by customer and site.
Liaising with the customer on aftermarket issues to ensure all issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Responsibility to achieve agreed targets.
Customer development, focusing on productivity and reliability in combination with company values.
Staying current with industry developments affecting sales and customers.
Other duties as assigned.

What you will bring along
Technical Degree (or two-year College Diploma)
4 or more years of technical knowledge in heavy equipment/mining industry, sales experience is preferable.
Previous knowledge or experience with Sandvik products would be considered an asset
Strong analytical/data analysis skills
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software experience would be an asset
Strong customer service focus
Proactive with demonstrated initiative
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver’s license required
Local and domestic travel up to 50%
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
