Key Performance Areas:

As part of our Business Unit Tube Specialized & EMEA Sales Team, you will be responsible for interface between Sales and Manufacturing for orders entry and scheduling shipments follow-up for mainly our intragroup and external customers’ orders. You will also provide technical knowledge needed to properly process customer orders, and ensure correct information is collected for invoicing of customer orders.

Tasks and activities:

Perform administrative customer sales service functions supporting the sales department with:

  • Entering orders into our ERP system, checking, among other things, product availability, incoterms, delivery address, invoicing address and the various conditions required by the customer.

  • Preparing of order confirmations,

  • Interacting with Production & Supply Chain with intensive communication for follow-up of customer orders.

  • Providing regular status of open orders and follows up with both customers and the production unit.

  • Accepting and checking customer enquiries and transmitting all necessary information to the sales force.

  • Checking and monitoring delivery times, and initiation of necessary measures in case of delays, schedule changes or disruptions

  • Maintaining and improves the integrity of the data in the ERP database and the Sales CRM tool.

  • Ensuring the best possible reception and service to our customers while respecting the various procedures related to the function.

  • Respecting the internal control procedures in order to comply with the rules and processes.

  • Finding solutions to problems as quickly as possible

  • Suggesting improvements to increase the service given to our customers internally and externally.

Your profile :

  • Completed commercial studies with relevant in international customer contact. Ideally, first practical experience in order processing or internal sales, preferably in an industrial environment,

  • Sales-oriented attitude and fun in assisting customers in the sale of premium products,

  • Good knowledge in customs and export administration,

  • Interest in selling products that require explanation and intensive consultation,

  • Proactive, independent and solution-oriented way of working,

  • Strong communicator and team player with a structured approach to work,

  • Motivation for individual development and personal growth,

  • Confident handling of MS Office applications, CRM and ERP (ideally M3),

  • Excellent German and English languages skills, both written and spoken,
