Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive individual who is passionate about service and technical support to manage and coach the field service team to ensure service activities are performed safely and effectively. This position will also be responsible of maintaining high levels of technical expertise and knowledge within the service team.

As well as this, you will also:

  • Management and development of the Field Service business.

  • Leading, supporting, coaching and developing the team to support growth both for employees and the business.

  • Continuously monitor and review the performance of field service team and address any issues accordingly.

  • Ensure all Quality and inspection documentation is maintained.

  • Drive and review training and development opportunities for field service technicians.

  • Provide high level technical product support to the team and to customers as required.

  • Provide technical advice to customers including commissioning, installing, and testing of products/equipment.

  • Liaise with product support teams for items that require review or redesign to improve the product.

  • Drive change to adapt and meet the customer and business requirements.

  • Develop on-going relationships with customers to secure future business.

  • Monitor and Control the Field Service work in progress.

About you

  • Mechanical Engineering qualification (Mechanical Trade will also be considered)

  • Onsite commissioning and fixed plant maintenance experience will be highly regarded

  • Strong leadership experience, skills and abilities

  • Proven ability to meet customer expectations and the ability to build relationships

  • Exceptional customer service, negotiation and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to utilise assigned resources and networks to achieve or exceed planned outcomes

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required

  • The right to work in Australia

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical test
