Sales Manager North-West
For Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions and our production site in Svedala, we’re now looking for an enthusiastic and committed Sales Manager for our North-West Territory. We offer you an exciting role in an early stage of a long-term journey – giving you the opportunity to shape your own work and make your mark within a global frontrunner! If you’re open minded, enjoy close cooperation with customers and coworkers, and are successful at building high performing squads – welcome to our team!
In this position, you're responsible for developing and implementing new strategies within your assigned geographical territory: Sweden, Norway, Iceland and Denmark. Being accountable for the team, you implement modern sales methodologies to keep us up to date. By coaching your team to outstanding achievements, you create an environment where people love to work. You ensure that the team produces results aligned with your vision and motivates them to bring our customers true value every day. In addition, you're liaising with product vendors and stakeholders to address areas of development and assure quality for our business capabilities. We have many exciting projects ahead of us, and since you're the one to explore the best ways of working – being a true team player with an engaging leadership approach is your key to success!
Most of our team is based in Svedala, Oslo and Stockholm and you report to the VP of Sales Area Northern. We’re looking for the most suitable competence and are flexible regarding your job location. Travel is included on a weekly basis within the Nordic countries.
We’re looking for someone with a proven record of accomplishment from a leading sales position, most likely in a larger company, selling capital equipment and aftermarket – or in an adjacent industry. You have experience working with a professional CRM setup and are skilled in MS Office, while Power BI is advantageous. Of course, it’s a plus if you have an academic degree in a relevant field. However, we appreciate it even more if you packed your bag with updated sales training and leadership competencies throughout your career. In this international setting, fluent communication and presentation skills in English are necessary, and we also require good knowledge of either Swedish or Norwegian. Being truly communicative and engaged in your team, you keep the organization informed and oriented – leading and developing the sales team, constantly striving to achieve remarkable improvements.
You both influence and challenge us to think bigger, and you build trustful relations with the people you meet. Acting in a broad arena and with a large number of stakeholders, you’re skilled in balancing business needs with confidence and integrity – respectfully knowing when to push forward to reach results. You thrive when having responsibility, and by being independent and proactive, you walk the talk and show the way forward. You’re curious and brave when you seize your way to an exciting future, remembering that Sandvik offers exciting career paths for candidates with the ambition to grow.
At Sandvik we offer a global arena of brilliant minds, and we’re technology driven, innovative, entrepreneurial, and inclusive! Success is a team effort, and we believe that diversity inspires, so we invest in supporting each other, learning together, and celebrating our differences.
