CGTech in the UK is looking for Technical Support Engineers across the UK. You will be home based in either South Yorkshire or the South East region.

Job summary - Your mission – To provide the ultimate customer experience
In this position you’ll be expected to assist customers in maximizing benefits and implementation of VERICUT software and provide technical support to customers, Sales Engineers and partners. Being flexible and mobile you will conduct training and consulting at various locations across the UK and overseas on occasion. You will also be able to build VERICUT Machine Configurations (VMCs) and log and track software change requests in line with our procedures.
Your profile - Experienced in CNC machining and programming to deliver technical solutions
We are seeking someone with practical working experience in CNC machining and programming and proficiency with MS Windows and Office applications. You will also possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to successfully project manage to solve problems and trouble-shoot to reach a desirable outcome.
This role will require frequent travel, often at short notice to customers in the UK and abroad, and nights away from home are often necessary.
In addition to the above, whilst not essential it would be advantageous if you have experience and knowledge of Heidenhain, Siemens 840d and other CNC controls as well as an ability to hand write CNC code. Practical CAD/CAM experience with emphasis on CAM expertise and computer programming skills and experience with VERICUT.
A Degree within an Engineering or related field would be beneficial although not essential.
