Sales Manager, Surface Drills – Territory North East Europe

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a global leading supplier of equipment and tools, service and digital solutions and sustainability-driving technologies for the mining and construction industries. Application areas include rock drilling, rock cutting, loading and hauling, tunneling and quarrying. Territory North East Europe is responsible for the business area’s sales and service activities in six Northern Europe countries, including Finland, Sweden, Denmark and the Baltic countries, with 160 employees.

Do you enjoy delivering to customers solutions that boost the productivity, sustainability and safety of their operations? We are looking for an experienced and proactive Sales Manager for surface drill rigs, to be based in Nokia, Finland. In this position you would be responsible for delivering optimized drilling solutions for our major construction and mining customers in Finland and the Baltics, in addition to managing the surface drills sales team in Sweden. By joining our team, you will have the chance to be involved in the creation of exciting new business opportunities and work with industry-leading automation and digitalization technologies.

Your mission

You will be responsible for the surface drill rig business and customer relationship management in Territory North East Europe. Seeking new business opportunities and implementing sales plans are the essence of this job. You will have a key role in the whole business process, ensuring that it is carried out in a way that meets and exceeds customer expectations.

Your background and what is important to us

We are looking for a people manager with a B.Sc. in either economics or a relevant technical field of study, and/or versatile expertise gained through work experience. Your knowledge of the industry is considered an advantage. You have a proven track record in sales and a results-driven way of working, with a strategic vision to grow the business profitably. You possess a good skill set in negotiation, interaction and cooperation. You have excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, while knowledge of other languages, including Swedish, is an asset. You are ready to travel, mainly in Finland and the Baltic states.
