About Us

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a global leading supplier of equipment and tools, parts, service and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries. Due to expansion of our operations we require 2 Field Service Supervisors to join and lead our field service team. Standard roster of 9:5 on offer, however alternative rosters will be considered.

Areas of responsibility

  • Work on a 14 day roster cycle (e.g. 9 days on 5 days off), supervising your team of Field Service employees

  • Motivating, training, and developing your team of Field Service employees

  • Manage, schedule and prioritise service and repair work for our customers

  • Liaising with product support teams for items that require review or redesign to improve the product

  • Coordination and support of all warranty claims for our customers

  • Providing advanced technical support for your team of heavy plant technicians and our customers

  • Leading the Sandvik Safety Culture by conducting yourself in accordance with our EHS Vision to achieve Zero Harm to; our people, the environment we work in, our customers and our suppliers.

Your profile

  • Australian recognised Automotive, Engineering or Electrical Trade Certification – LV Mechanic applications welcome

  • Technical experience in the mining industry (underground mobile equipment is looked upon favorably)

  • Supervisory experience in workshop or field service operations

  • Customer-focused attitude and commitment to providing efficient internal and external customer service

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
