We are looking for two passioned territory sales managers to drive further business growth and manage our regional channel partners in the Greater China area. Your mission
In this position, you manage, develop and grow our business in the Greater China area - including sales revenue, pipelines, new customers and channel partners. You make sure that we work in line with agreed targets, strategic initiatives and global marketing plans. You execute our global digital manufacturing strategy on a regional level, and always ensure that our operations follow local laws and regulations as well as considering China-specific wants and needs. Using our professional TDM sales processes and tools, you continually develop our strategic approach, sales tactics and value-based selling, and you monitor and continuously improve our lead-to-order process, where you clearly articulate the strengths and value proposition of our TDM solutions.

Additionally, you are a role model when it comes to increasing our business as you actively engage your existing industry network, build and maintain high quality relationships with key customers and channel partners, and strive for new opportunities. It is vital to form a deep understanding of the wants and needs of our customer base and new customers. Other important parts of your mission are to identify and develop talents for our future needs, to lay the foundation for a TDM China organization and to actively interact with other Sandvik companies and stakeholders.

You report to the director of global partner sales at TDM Systems. The preferred locations are Shenzhen and Beijing as we believe that this puts you in a great position to significantly increase our market shares. Extensive travel within the Greater China area is a natural part of your job.

Your background and character
We are looking for someone with a relevant academic degree – most likely within engineering, computer science or business administration – combined with demonstrated results in developing and growing a sales territory in a software B2B environment. Knowledge and experience in discrete manufacturing and tool management automation software, as well as experience in Industry 4.0 in manufacturing and metal cutting processes is highly important to understand our offering and its value. Ideally you are already familiar with metal cutting tools and tool management. You are a senior sales professional with at least eight years of experience in strategic sales planning and execution, value-based selling, sales pipeline and performance management, and you have a strong ability to establish trusting relations with customers and channel partners.

We act in a global context, which calls for cultural awareness and fluency in both English and Chinese. You are skilled in communicating and presenting information to senior management, as well as to shop floor operators.

You are well organized, have strong negotiation skills and confidently take lead as you develop a successful sales environment for us. In this new role in an increasingly important market, you need to act independently and being both motivated and solution oriented as you strive for great results. With your solid understanding of needs and demands, you build trusting relations and great collaborations with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
