The Technical Sales will establish, develop and maintain strong and effective multi-level-customer relationships either as Inside Sales and also face to face customer contact in order to achieve sales and marketing targets.
The role at the beginning will be responsible to build, maintain and develop business relationship with existing and new customers as Inside Sales. In a second phase, act as Field Sales and balance the activities of Inside/Field Sales for the main assigned customers.
Our main Italian customers are (Petro) Chemical industry, Engineering Companies, Fabricators, Piping and Instrumentation Constructors, Machining workshop.
In your role you work closely with your Customer, Regional Sales Director, Sales Managers, Field-Inside Sales and frequently with colleagues from the production units.
Key Performance Areas:
Learn the product portfolio and IT tools for offering and order-booking and all other tools to support sales
Handle customer inquiries, orders and complaints professionally
Negotiate prices between mill and the customers, follow up on enquiry and offers to book orders
Achieve the agreed and communicated sales targets
Available to travel in the Adriatic Region (Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Greece) and to Sandvik facilities mainly in Europe.
Ensure personal and team safety
Engineering Degree in Mechanics or Material/Documented evidence of relevant technical and/or business experience
At least 2 years of experience in the position or in equivalent roles
Strong sales attitude/Highly commercial feeling
Extravert personality with good knowledge verbal and writing of Italian and English, enthusiastic, team players
Good English skills in speaking and writing
Full understanding of the current way of media and communication
