Our Tube Division is a world leading producer of seamless stainless steel tubes in special alloys for selected niches in the most demanding industries.

We are looking for a Business Unit Specialized Products - Sales Manager America’s based out of Scottdale, PA.

ROLES & MISSION

As part of a Global Sales Team in our Sub-Division Tube Specialized Unit, you are responsible to manage and oversee sales to all customers based in the America’s.

The main customer industries will include Aerospace, Medical, High Pressure, High Precision and Automotive.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • To manage the sales organization ensuring that processes and routines (inquiry to offer / to order / to delivery / to collection) are aligned with customers' expectations and Sandvik's capabilities
  • Develop and execute on the Marketing & Sales plan for the region based on BU global plan, driving focus on key segments, industries and customers where Sandvik can take leading position and provide a differentiated offering, securing long term growth in the region
  • Ensure that market intelligence routines and analysis are conducted in the region including competitor’s analysis, trade statistics, project information and monitoring of market trends
  • To represent the company or secure proper representation at customer and industry events, as well as in trade associations
  • To maintain direct and consistent contact with the most important customers for the region
  • Conduct regional business planning and reporting routines including: budget and forecast, monthly business performance review to the BU Sales & Marketing Director, execution on price and profitability frameworks owned by BU product/Industry management
  • Responsibility to drive and lead business in accordance with Sandvik core values, policies and processes

YOUR PROFILE

  • You are recognized in delivering excellent sales results and successful experience in business development
  • Experience of sales in Aerospace, Medical, High Pressure, High Precision or Automotive industries would be advantageous
  • By your communication & presentation skills, you are able to work with internal and external stakeholders to create synergy and gain commitment to execute business plans.
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Your personality is the key to our common success! You enjoy working independently while being a true team player who really values collaboration. You are a confident and driven executive who always strivers to learn more. With a positive and open attitude, you also see no problems working in a changing environment
  • Regular National and limited international travels are required
