We’re now looking for a Managing Director and Territory Manager for the Sales Area of Finland and the Baltics. For this role, we need you to be an energetic and teambuilding leader who truly believes in team diversity and inclusion. This, in combination with your passion for development and innovation makes you the perfect fit for the job!

Your mission

In this position, you’re responsible for the sales area budget, as well as resource planning and driving profitable and sustainable sales. You do this by developing both new and existing business in the market, and in conjunction with your sales team. In collaboration with the sales areas business line managers, you ensure that the business plan is developed and implemented. You also lead and energize the sales team by coaching and developing; generating new ideas for product and offers, providing support with deal closing, assisting with high level negotiations and through setting individual targets. To conduct regular sales meetings with the sales team and ensuring that the agreed strategy is being implemented is an important key for success in this role. As is supporting, motivating and carry out performance reviews with the individual sales managers on a regular basis. On top of this, you lead our territory management team.

The location for this position is in Nokia, Finland and extensive travel within Finland is a natural part of your job. You work in close relation with the sales area business line managers and the Account Manager.

Your character

We’re looking for someone with relevant experience from a similar role within sales, and if you also have a university degree it’s considered beneficial. You have a solid track record of driving business development and sales management, as well as good leadership and managerial skills – this, combined with experience from successfully managing a team are your keys to success in this role. CRM skills are necessary, and knowledge of the products in our offering and the business is advantageous. Working internationally calls for excellent English and Finnish skills.
