We are now looking for Data Engineer to compliment our data analytics team.
In Sandvik Automation analytics team we partner with our customers around the world to help transform their data into valuable information and improve their productivity, efficiency and safety. As an experienced Data Engineer you will be involved in developing cloud based data analytics solution, and work in a partnership with our customers and product development team to understand use cases, data needs, and outcome objectives. You will be leading activities on optimizing performance and reliability of our end-to-end data pipeline, defining new integration interfaces, and refining data acquisition, processing, storing and management processes. Now is a good time to join our team since you will have an opportunity to transform our solution to the next level and plan future technological roadmap and strategy with us. - Data pipeline performance optimization and monitoring including developing automation scripts and refining processes
- Data management
- System Integration management
- Platform architecture development support
- Platform data related issues resolving management
- Collaboration with customer, development team, and internal SMEs
Your Skills and Qualifications
We hope you will some of the following skills:
- Programming skills on Azure technology stack (SQL, Python, Spark, etc.)
- Understanding of principles of data architecture design, database design, data governance
- Hands-on skills with SQL suite of applications
- Communication skills in English
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, EE or similar field
- Preferable toolbox: SQL DW, SQL DB, Azure Storage, Azure Synapse, Databricks, ELT, Spark, python, Power BI
Additionally, we hope you have problem solving attitude, great teamwork skills, you are willing to take initiative and ownership of your work and you enjoy working in multicultural environment!
