- Well known mining and construction products development knowledges (including design and application) from hydraulic aspects as R&D Hydraulic Engineer.
- Develops and designs of underground mining products (drills or other) based on production, aftermarket, sales feedbacks or in accordance with product upgrade roadmap.
- Develop new designs as part of new development projects, or in response to customer requests and meet product technical specifications.
- Make product design change/optimization independently. Responds to and executes Engineering Change Notices (ECN). Prepares engineering drawings, BOM.
- Hydraulic schematic drawing design, calculation and optimization of the hydraulic system of mining machinery, as well as the 3D drawing of the hydraulic hose&tube routing and the 2D engineering drawing
- Localization and cost down. Keep implementing cost down measures. Ensure designs are in compliance with local legislation. Support Sourcing Team to set up local suppliers.
- Ensure component approvals, and design calculations are kept up to date.
- Hotline technical support to production or other departments when needed.
- Collaborate and give supports to production on machine assembly and testing, sourcing, documentation. Reduce scrap cost
- Hydraulic system design and calculation, familiar with the performance and application of hydraulic components of mainstream brands, hydraulic system commissioning, and skilled in using simulation software to analyze the performance of hydraulic system;
- Hydraulic system general layout, schematic drawing and detail design
- Proficiency with UG NX or other 3D tools is mandatory, better to have experience about HyDraw-CAD or Eplan Fluid (or similar) and Teamcenter or Windchill or SAP.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical design or fluid control (hydraulic) or related is required.
- Minimum 8-year relevant working experience, major in Engineering, Heavy machinery, underground drill in R&D branch.
