Quality Engineer

The position would directly report to Quality & EHS Manager, below please refer to the job description.

Key performance areas:

• Adhere to all Sandvik EHS policies and procedures.

• Responsible for incoming inspection of raw material and semi-manufactured parts/purchasing parts.

• Ensure that quality assurance routines and processes are in place at PU Wuxi.

• Be able to use all measuring tools and equipment, contracer/profile projector/CMM etc.

• Daily maintenance of contracer/profile projector/CMM.

• Manages the measuring devices/gages in the company and do the calibration.

• Conduct process quality audit and follow up the corrective actions.

• Write out and update operation instructions for measurement devices/gages, test equipment.

• Finish required measurement, test and customer warranty analysis.

• Support new product testing and qualification.

• Understand working Instructions and guarantee application of the documentation, methods, in workstation.

• Support global product audit.

• Monthly quality data collection and analysis, Release OFI to follow the corrective actions.

• Develop new product Inspection WI and Update timely.

• Familiar with ISO system, help to set-up and pass ISO external auditing.

Your profile:

• Language Skill: Fluent Mandarin and English.

• Bachelor or above degree in Metallurgy, Quality, Mechanical Engineering, or related majors.

• Experience in industrialization of 3 years ideally in mining industry or manufacturing industry, at least 2 years of experience in contracer & profile projector.

• Be familiar with other measuring instruments.

• Normal knowledge quality tools (e.g., 5 why, 8D, APQP).

• Knowledge about product audit.

• Experience with SAP/ERP system would be preferred.

• ISO 9001 internal auditor certificate, ISO 14001 & 45001 would be preferred.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people is essential.
