We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Engineer within Coromant at our production unit in Coventry, reporting to the Quality Manager.

Job Summary

As a Quality Engineer you will be a key part of our manufacturing operations Coventry.

In this role you will be key to maintaining product conformity to meet customer and internal specifications, to improve quality and productivity. You will support continuously improving the quality assurance and control processes, developing and implementing processes will include methods to minimize and eliminate waste.

You will assist with both internal and external quality audits and resultant product quality levels in line with internal, customer and requirements. You will also be key in addressing, investigate and resolve internal and customer quality issues.

Your profile

Experience of working within a manufacturing environment is required with some knowledge of quality operations and processes; measurement system analysis, SPC or other quality tools. You have good communication skills and are comfortable working with data and are IT literate. You are both happy to work independently on tasks or as part of a team to achieve our goals.
