The role
Sandvik is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving the performance of Sandvik rock drills by developing innovative systems and processes in partnership with Global Parts & Services and the Rockdrill PA.
The primary objective of this role is to support Sandvik's customers in achieving their goals of reducing costs and increasing productivity through timely value-added services. By doing so, we aim to enhance our customers' perception of Sandvik's rock drill products and establish ourselves as the preferred choice in the industry.

You will be responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and engineering teams, to develop and implement effective strategies that align with Sandvik's vision and mission.
Areas of responsibility
- Manage continuous improvement of Sandvik’s repair process and procedure for every rockdrill type in conjunction with the Rockdrill PA engineering and Global Parts & Services team.
- Monitor compliance to Sandvik’s repair process at all rockdrill repair locations.
- Improve the standard test procedure for each model rockdrill in conjunction with the Rockdrill PA.
- Further develop Sandvik’s Drill inspection process for rockdrill customers.
- Promote and or Train on rockdrill repair process and causes of failures.
- Further Develop Rockdrill reports, and the standard of information delivered to the customer in line with Condition, Cause and Correction to add value to the customers operations with the goal of reducing their operating cost
- Further refine Sandvik’s lean end to end rockdrill repair process (from removal to invoice).
- Review and manage Sandvik’s rockdrill performance contract repairs and initiatives.
- Review rockdrill reports, make recommendations to ensure continuous improvement in the report quality and value to customers
- Provide high quality feed back to the Rock drill PA and Global Parts & Services to further develop the rockdrill product through its performance and service life.
- Work with Sandvik’s rockdrill repair customers on their rockdrill performance to improve the service life they achieve and increase productivity to reduce their costs.
Your profile
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the mining industry and possess excellent
communication and project management skills. A proven track record of developing and implementing successful systems, report writing, Failure Analysis and advanced computer literacy and processes in a similar role is required. Mechanical engineering or Mechanical trade is essential.
