About the job
In this position, you’re responsible for our project portfolio management and you thoroughly look into how we can improve our capabilities and frameworks, and become even more successful in this line of work. Together with project managers across the IT organization and the project portfolio coordinator in your team, you prepare detailed, reliable and accurate information to support decision making regarding what initiatives to run. You also follow up on project metrics, as well as develop and maintain models and documentation that increases transparency and high quality in our project portfolio performance. Another important part of your assignment is to ensure alignment with our internal project guidelines, and you offer both training and communication support to our project managers and steering groups.

To further enhance our overall project management competence and delivery, you shape the continuous improvement of processes and ways of working, share valuable knowledge and identify best-practices for our project managers. You also look at the benefits of digitalization and what we need to consider to keep ahead of the game.

In this position, you report to the Head of Operational Excellence and your location is flexible between Stockholm, Sandviken and Tampere. Some planned travel may occur.

You’re known for your abilities to influence and collaborate, as well as for your facilitative leadership skills. You’re also experienced with operational transformations, process development and driving cross-functional change, and you have broad knowledge of the tools and methods used in this line of work. As we’re a truly global organization, you need excellent written and verbal skills in English.

Effectively balancing small details with the bigger picture sets you up for success in this position. With energy, confidence and drive, you take the lead and drive necessary decisions, and you’re also genuinely open for creative ideas and new perspectives. Collaboration and strong networks are your cornerstones – you’re a people person who uses clear communication and inspiring ways to promote change and leave a positive impact.
