Scope:

  • Contributes to a competitive and profitable portfolio of products, knowledge and solutions for both short and long term.

  • Enhance sales by promotion of existing and support introduction of new solutions from a product line or industry segment perspective

  • Execute product or industry segment strategy to enhance overall growth and engage targeted and major accounts.

  • Follow up progress and analyze the situation within particular product line or industry segment and promote products and services to potential and existing customers to enhance sales development.

  • Support product & application knowledge and overall technical competence

Main responsibilities and accountabilities include:

Product support:

  • Provide product support and application solutions to sales force, projects and customers

  • Participate on special projects and assignments deemed necessary to increase sales and promote our brand (closely connected with Customized Solutions and Strategic

  • Relations organization and global PM/R&D)

  • Create and share best practice and support MPT’s

Technical Training

  • Support product & application training, level 2 & 3, within product line or industry segment internally as well as to customers and partners

  • Support our training department to create technical training and to localize technical training if needed (including proof reading of material)

  • Support CoroPak TTT training

Local Product Management:

  • Follow up targets and sales within product line or industry segment

  • Give input to target setting and Sales Plans

  • Build strong network with local organization, top or leading customers and academia

  • Analyze and understand current market conditions and future trends by follow up our overall sales, top current and potential customers’ requirements and needs, industry trends, new technologies, competitor’s activities and input from leading customers, partners and academia.

  • Execute local product or industry segment strategy to enhance overall growth

  • Enhance sales development by promotion of existing, and support introduction of new products / solutions

  • Support and plan MPT / R&D field execution

  • Support best practice sharing

  • Track the top current and potential customers personally and keep track on their needs and progress

  • Support marketing events / trade show exhibitions

Global networking:

  • Contribute to global product or industry strategies through high quality input

  • Monitor competitors and feedback to stakeholders

  • Participate and contribute to global PM/R&D and Customized Solutions and Strategic Relations organization activities (e.g. input to spec. of demand, field testing, etc.)

  • Support best practice sharing to global functions, between Sales Areas and make full use of best practice regardless where its created

Your Profile:

  • Be able to see the big picture as able to investigate into detail

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Ability to listen to customer and sales force to understand underlying needs

  • Ability to build broad personal network

  • Be a good teacher and have a coaching approach

  • Strong knowledge and experience in industry and application

  • Proven records in managing multiple work tasks or projects and develop synergies in cross border and cross industry segment

  • Knowledge and experience in managing external and internal customer relationships

  • Able to understand and work in a matrix organization set up with strong networking skills

  • Six to Eight years’ experience in sales or industry segment management with

engineering cutting tools skills and knowledge.

  • Good understanding of our business model and Brand commitments

This position reports to – Product and Industry Segment Manager South & East Asia
