Pricing Manager Commercial Strategy & Support (m/f/d)

As Manager Commercial Strategy & Support you enhance our value proposition to Strategic Relations accounts in the pricing related area by securing dedicated resources with global availability for our truly strategic customers. You create the basis to sell and implement advanced pricing solutions even faster and easier. You are taking a key position in supporting the achievements of our global business targets with these customers.

Your challenge

In this position, you manage a team of Commercial Strategists and Pricing & Discount Specialists. You and your team support our Strategic Relations managers with sales and implementation of complex pricing solutions/ projects at our customers. You lead commercial price-related projects from start through implementation with strategic accounts, global accounts and key cross-border accounts. Furthermore, you implement pricing and commercial strategies for strategic and global accounts, including the set up of pricing agreements and take a leading role in dealing with cross-border pricing issues.

In your role as team lead you develop and implement an efficient working process for the management of commercial terms and conditions with our strategic and global accounts. You develop necessary competencies among team members and give feedback on performance. You drive and apply our Sandvik Core Values and Code of Conduct in all business and personal dealings, drive your team to adopt and apply the Safety First Culture.

Your character

We’re looking for someone with a relevant university degree in engineering or Business Administration, or relevant working experience and internal trainings, who has proven success in pricing negotiations with large companies in the manufacturing industry. You have experience from leading projects of fairly complex nature and proven track record in people management. You are able to develop commercial and price strategies with a holistic view, understand customer and financial aspects and to implement the strategies in the daily tasks of the department.

As we work in an international setting, you have good skills in English, both written and verbal. Business travel is a natural part of the job.
