Right now, we need a Content Marketing Specialist to join our cross functional global team, with the challenge to strategically capitalize on the impact of content to drive profitable customer actions. We’re flexible when it comes to location, but your role will be based at one of our Sandvik Coromant offices in Europe.

A day in the life of a Content Marketing Specialist
You’re responsible for strategically planning and creating relevant content to fill the customer journey in a timely and valuable manner. Content that attracts and engages our target audience, drives action and grows our business. Content that creates a lasting appeal.
The key is to be where the action is and to always listen in on what’s buzzing – making sure to always stay updated on trends in content assets and new ways to grab our audience’s attention. Naturally, you conduct research, analyze and follow up on trends in customer behavior to enable a strategy that’s on point and performs well. You have the endurance needed to keep focus over the full campaign lifecycle and to stay motivated when the going gets tough and your goalposts move. Working with us, there’s never a dull moment.
Some of the tasks you perform include:
Plan, manage and optimize integrated campaigns across a variety of channels
Build distribution and reach plans
Analyze customer reports, draw appropriate conclusions and share results with stakeholders – and decide new actions from your findings
Analyze target audiences and provide key insights to content producers
Devise and share strategies, knowledge and key insights internally – and then learn and apply
What you bring to the table
Let’s start with the hard skills. You have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or the corresponding knowledge gained from previous jobs - either in a global company, agency or from the consultancy side. In the last couple of years, you’ve gained a good understanding of digital marketing, preferably from a B2B perspective. As a machining and tech-based company, we’d love if you share our interest and perhaps even a fascination for the world of engineering.
During your journey, you’ve gained experience from the whole marketing process – from implementing marketing in digital channels and delivering digital assets (such as online media and social media ads), to managing campaigns, and following up and analyzing results or KPI’s. In other words, Marketing Automation, Google Analytics and Google Ads are nothing new to you, and SEO is something you can do in your sleep. As we act on a truly global stage, excellent skills in spoken and written English are a must, and language skills like Swedish, a plus.
Although knowledge and experience are important, we put great value on your personal qualities. Like the rest of your content marketing team colleagues, you’re open-minded and curious - not afraid to try new ideas and find innovative ways of working. You have a strong team spirit, which shines through when connecting with different stakeholders and collaborating with colleagues. You see challenges as opportunities, and you approach potential obstacles with confident creativity - but always with an eye for details and leaving nothing to chance.
