The pricing function has the global responsibility for developing and establishing pricing strategies for our total offer, as well as executing these in the markets to serve short and long-term objectives of driving profitable growth at Sandvik Coromant.
As we’re about to strengthen our organization to improve processes and strategies, we’re now looking for an organized Pricing Project Leader. Someone to drive and implement the pricing-related projects and solutions, and by the help of that, increase our efficiency, support our strategies and develop our competitive strengths, which in turn will fortify our premium positioning. Your mission – being the driving force towards brilliant processes
In this position, you’re responsible for managing, planning and executing the pricing project initiatives connected to our existing systems and new solutions – from budget and prioritization to resource planning, business requirements and quality control. By supporting the change processes, you make sure everything interacts in a proper and efficient way and bring the projects all the way to the finish line in a timely manner. Working towards many different stakeholders, you set clear requirements and demands, while also listening and utilizing their expertise to find the best solutions. You also represent the pricing function in cross-functional and global system-related projects, where you contribute with your knowledge.
As you’re part of a global team, travelling is a natural part of the role, and the job location is truly flexible.
Your Profile – an independent doer who’s thinking outside of the box
We’re looking for someone with a strong background as a leader in an industrial company. Someone who has experience of cross-functional projects and change management, as well as of working globally across different cultures. Cooperating with IT architects and solution suppliers is nothing new to you and it’s beneficial if you are familiar with Enquiry to Quotation and Order to Delivery processes, and also knowledge of SAP and CRM. You have a Bachelor's degree or have gained equivalent knowledge through work experience, and it’s highly beneficial if you have work experience within finance, business control, sales or pricing. Acting in a truly global arena, you need an open mind and cultural awareness, as well as communication and presentation skills in English.
Your background is important, but your personality is key. You’re an excellent networker with the ability to challenge and engage as you establish solid relationships across functions and groups of stakeholders. As a good listener you understand the requirements and situations affecting different processes, and you’re able to identify gaps and obstacles. With an attention for the details, you leave nothing for interpretation, while at the same time, you keep the bigger picture in mind and focus on the goal.
