Sandvik Coromant’s marketing team in Sales Area Americas take lead in applying a balanced and effective mix of marketing, communication and brand activities to drive sales, promote our growth strategy and ensure our unique brand position. Covering all of the Americas, the Channel Marketing team actively drives an audience centric approach and secures the successful and efficient launch of our offers and drive our channel partner marketing strategy with its activities and programs throughout the sales area. The job
In this position, you ensure successful strategy execution throughout the USA, Canada, Brazil and Mexico in support of Sandvik Coromant Channel partners, Machine Tool Solutions partners as well as Education and Association partners. In dialogue with our partners and internal resources, you coordinate joint campaigns, product launches, promotions, notifications, trainings and events, and you make sure to drive these activities with content adapted to targeted end-customers. An important part in this job is the ownership of the marketing automation process (via Marketo) to and for our Channel Partners. Additionally, you will be creating content and collateral for co-branding purposes and specific local market requirements. You will also be responsible to coordinate social media programs and posts, and you act in alliance with the Global Marketing Content team for localizing and adapting for Channel partner use in support of product launches, quarterly campaigns or ad-hoc. You will manage the Sandvik Coromant Partner Portal and upload content aligned to the Channel marketing strategy in order to drive engagement.

You’re a role model when it comes to engaging communication and building relations. You actively work for a digital approach, supporting channel awareness and understanding around digital marketing and sales. You collaborate with cross-functional teams across the entire Sales Area to gain feedback and keep them informed of activities pertaining to their areas of responsibility, and you’re an active part in the development of Go-To-Market marketing plans. You also team up with internal stakeholders to support the marketing of the Sandvik Coromant website to drive engagement and conversion.

As the role and team continues to develop, we would expect this position to grow their base of responsibilities to match this growth.

Also included in the job:

  • Monitoring campaign performance, reporting results and learnings on a regular basis, and using insights to adjust and optimize programs.

  • Actively supporting the marketing of the Sandvik Coromant web in support of overall annual Sales & Marketing objectives and goals to specific customer segments as identified in the Local Business Plan.

  • Being in charge of the marketing database and contact lists, ensuring the highest data quality and compliance with email regulations.

You report to Channel Marketing Manager – Sales Area Americas

Your background and profile

For this position, we’re looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering results and managing change and relationships. You’re skilled in project management and experienced in Sales and Marketing planning, preferably with partners or third parties, and you’re skilled in educating partners on benefits and measurements. An agency or consulting background is a plus. You understand Automation logic, including use of triggers, filters, tokens, and wait steps to ensure effective and accurate attribution across all lifecycle stages. You also have the business knowledge to support our business results and continuous improvement. As you’re expected to adapt content for different channels, you need to be quite strong in creative design, and you communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing, while Spanish, Portuguese or French (writing proficiency) are an asset.

Additional key competences:

  • Knowledge of marketing automation via Marketo

  • Office 365 (Dynamics, Excel) and applications in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).

  • Relevant University or College degree
