CNC Machining in CE Alloys
We are actively seeking an apprentice to join the CE Alloys department at Sandvik Osprey. This will be a Mechanical Engineering apprentice who wishes to train as a CNC Machinist.
The apprentice will ideally be starting their second year of a mechanical engineering qualification with a local college.
Applicants will need to be hard-working, keen to learn and conscientious, with a desire to have a successful career as a CNC Machinist.
At the end of the apprenticeship, depending on business circumstances at the time, there is likely to be the opportunity for a permanent role within the CE Alloys department at Sandvik Osprey.
Apprentices will be paid the apprenticeship wage which is set by the government and reviewed annually.
The apprenticeship agreements will be for a 12-month fixed period, and will be reviewed and renewed annually until the end of their apprenticeship. There will be a requirement to attend work four days per week and with a one-day release to attend college.
