Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator is responsible for visualizing, planning, and coordinating cross functional workflows. The Project Coordinator will plan, schedule and manage equipment, workers, and raw materials so that all production deadlines are met, while ensuring a safe and healthy workplace.

What you will be doing

  • Supervising, coordinating and scheduling activities of workers, adjusting production staffing and capacity to effectively meet production deadlines while developing daily schedule metrics.

  • Establishing methods to meet work schedules and coordinating work activities with other departments

  • Managing Parent Supplier information flow to ensure Quality Delivered products

  • Planning, scheduling, and managing equipment, workers, and raw materials so that all production deadlines are met.

  • Requisitioning equipment and supplies.

  • Evaluating component sizes, weights, tolerances, and characteristics

  • Identifying problems, coordinating, and facilitating meetings with appropriate groups and implementing solutions.

  • Resolving work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity.

  • Ensuring a safe and healthy workplace by incorporating the required procedures in all jobs and tasks. Ensuring that company policies, required regulations are followed by overseeing safety of operations, and training staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.

  • Performing other specific duties as directed.

Environmental Health and Safety

What you will bring along

  • At least two (2) years of experience a manufacturing environment, preferably in Electric vehicle manufacturing;

  • An Engineering degree or engineering technologist certification is an asset

  • PMP Designation or Project Management Certification is an asset

  • Electrical Systems understanding

  • Working experience with scheduling and related record keeping

  • Ability to analyze records, assess current needs and equipment needs

  • Computer literacy and high level of skill across Microsoft office suite.

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Solidworks

  • Ability to successfully engage and interact with all levels of workers in a multicultural environment.

  • Attention to detail; ability to work within tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks

  • Adept to change and constant improvement.

  • Experience and knowledge of the applicable safety standards with respect to automated equipment.

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
