Key Performance Areas:

In this role, you are responsible for the full management of our production plant in Werther (around 120 employees), specialized in the high precision tubes products on very demanding markets like Automotive, Aerospace and Medical.

For that, you deploy the necessary strategy to guarantee the general performance of the industrial tool and its future development, with managing and coordinating all departments in the plant to ensure that Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives are met, and that the safety of employees and the site is guaranteed.

With the appropriate freedom to act, you perform duties as a site manager and you are responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the day-to-day activities, projects, process improvements and/or workload of people in Manufacturing site. You are supported by the local management team representing typical areas of activities in a production environment (Supply Chain, Production, Quality, EHS, Maintenance and Engineering...)

In this, you will be obviously supported and asked to cooperate with the Global Sales organization and the support functions as Finance and Human Resources and all other support function needed.

This role will involve but not be limited to:

  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and all activities on the site,

  • Leading the production, maintenance, quality, purchasing/supply and HSE management team to ensure the smooth running of industrial operations, processes and the reliability of the industrial tool,

  • Manage, coach and develop a high performing manufacturing team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements

  • Clarify and optimize production/planning/purchasing/raw material supply/preventive maintenance flows in order to improve our service rate and production costs. In this context, work with the sales and administration teams to ensure the best service to our customers,

  • Management, synchronization and arbitration of operational flows: production planning, purchasing, supplies, logistic, preventive maintenance…

  • Define, participate in and manage the vision, the strategy and the targets for the site (investment, capacity, productivity, new processes, new development) and their performance over the medium and long term,

  • Responsible for the budget for the site and be responsible for the control of costs/losses. Monitor appropriate KPI,

  • Initiate and lead the changes necessary to improve performance and ultimately the satisfaction of end customers,

  • To install a dynamic and empowering quality and HSE policy, in accordance with the regulations applicable in the sector of activity,

  • Work in close collaboration with the HR, Finance, Sales & Marketing departments of the Business Unit.

  • Ensure local regulations & global group process compliance in all required areas.

Your profile

We are looking for you with solid experience from the manufacturing industry combined with relevant and adequate knowledges in Business Management of a full site (Finance, general management, HR…).

Thanks to your strong leadership competences, you are able to mobilize the teams to build an empowered environment with aiming the excellence and a high performing organization.

Genuine field Woman/Men, your competences and knowledge in leading manufacturing environment are key, from systems and technics, by way of compliance standard and obvious typical production processes (safety, quality, productivity, inventory….)

Strategic thinking & project leader with excellent communication skills are also essentials for the success in this position. You must be confident and willing to work in a team-oriented environment with Engineers, Technicians, Operators and Managers, with good organization and project management skills

You are a confident and driven executive who always strives to learn more. With a positive and open attitude, you also see no problems working in a changing environment.

Other required competences: German language (mother tong); fluent in English; Digital oriented with strong proficiency office and industrial IT; Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems experience.
