For our Business Unit (BU) Stationary, part of Division Crushing and Screening and Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology, we’re now looking for a Trade Compliance Officer to join our finance team. In this role, you actively drive us towards a higher level of trade compliance maturity!

Within Trade Compliance, our goal is to integrate customs and export control processes and tools throughout our value-chain. The Trade Compliance function ensures that export as well as import procedures comply with international trade regulations.
As Trade Compliance Officer you align goals and activities in Business Unit Stationary for all legal entities and production units, anchoring trade compliance initiatives and aligning them with the overall Group strategy. Creating procedures to increase compliance and best practice, ensuring that processes and requirements get implemented and securing ownership and responsibility for trade compliance areas, are all parts of your job. You verify that trade compliance processes are followed, and that the maturity stays high, and proper documentation is maintained. By conducting training and education and securing knowledge in the division you create awareness about trade compliance in daily operations. Together with the Trade Compliance Officers in the other BU’s you also drive knowledge share and cross-site learning initiatives, ensure that best practices are rolled out, and new tools or processes are developed as needed. Furthermore, you support the business in international trade activities and changes in trade rules, aligned with SMRT Group directives.
A few international travel days every month is required in this position and the location is Svedala. A fast and easy commute from surrounding cities, such as Malmö, Lund and Ystad, with our production site located just across from the train station.
We’re looking for someone with a degree from a relevant field of study, or equivalent experience. You have a few years’ experience from a leading position, with strong experience from work related customs and import/export operations. Knowledge in the area of Logistics and Supply Chain is highly desired. As we operate in a global setting, you need to have excellent skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
