About the job

In this position, you’re responsible for our ServiceNow platform. By gathering, evaluating and implementing the needs and requirements of the business, you enable solid solutions, designs and usability in the platform. This is done by interacting with the business, vendors and industry experts, and by creating and mapping the information into structures that support us in reaching our objectives. Naturally, you also collaborate closely with process owners and other specialists within Sandvik IT Services to turn ideas and plans into reality.

You’re one of our go-to-persons in all matters connected to ServiceNow, and you provide us with technical expertise and guidance to make sure we have a fully evolved platform and use it in the best possible way. Other important parts of your job is to review our current technology architecture landscape and look for ways to improve or extend our investments, and you focus on adding true business value as you drive innovations and share best practices.

The location for this position is in either Sandviken or Kista, Stockholm. However, you need to be present at both sites - in Sandviken at least 1-2 days per week, and in Kista 1-2 days per month.

Your background and character

We’re looking for someone with a university degree in IT, or the equivalent experienced gained from a working career. You have extensive experience from an architect role and deep knowledge and practical experience in implementation of the ServiceNow platform, in which you have also performed solution design, as well as process (ITIL) and requirement analysis. If you have a certification in ServiceNow it’s beneficial. To be successful in this role you also need knowledge from IT Service Management, IT Services and Operations, as well as CMDB. You’re used to strategic work, and you know how to connect with our internal stakeholders and translate business demands into successful solutions. Working in a global environment calls for excellent communication skills in English.

With a doers attitude and a knack for complex problem-solving, you work to make things happen and are able to both spot the minor details and drive your own job forward as a whole. You’re proactive and analytical, and you always focus on the end result as you manage the many different requirements from our stakeholders. This means that you’re also confident in prioritizing and making decisions, and you inform the organization on options and best possible solutions.
