Then this is absolutely something for you – we’re agile and have the ability to mold this role to suit the candidate – we’re thrilled to meet you!

About the job

This is a dynamic and flexible position that includes support in an advisory capacity and operational activities. You’re the support interface for our multiple divisions ensuring they meet and maintain the required baseline security levels. You support and assist our IT delivery teams, mergers, and acquisitions business by reviewing security assessments and recommending any relevant security corrective measures that need to be undertaken. You report directly to the business area CISO and are a part of the security function. You’re also required to represent us in our global security community through active participation and engagement.

The location for this job is in Hyllie (Malmö), Sweden and even though this is a dynamic and flexible role, and we offer part-time remote possibilities, it’s of high importance that you live in the area. Domestic and international travel is included in the job.

Your skills and you as a person

  • IT security and control frameworks
  • Risk management
  • Change management
  • Vulnerability management

It’s an advantage if you have a good understanding in, or have worked in some security capacity within the operational technology domain, as manufacturing is at the heart of Sandvik’s business. It’s a plus if you have certifications within these fields. As we operate on a global stage and our corporate language is English, a proficient level of both written and oral English is a requirement.

Your personality is what makes the difference and as an ideal candidate, you’re a good communicator and listener. You enjoy working in a high paced environment – both independently and as part of a team. You’re inclusive and engaging with your co-workers – as well as respectful to others and their opinions.
