Sandvik Group Treasury, included in the Sandvik Group Finance organization, is overall responsible for supporting our global business in managing all types of financial exposures and transactions. As part of this, our Treasury IT function manage, develop and support all our IT systems. These systems are used by Group Treasury but also, we provide and support systems to our group companies globally used for payments, trade finance, internal invoicing, netting of internal payments, FX and money market deals.

We’re now looking for a detailed and collaborative IT support professional – someone who’s eager to broaden their competence in a global setting with focus on our IT systems. By joining us in this stage, you get to interact with a large international network and contribute to the future development of Sandvik Group as an important speaking partner and advisor.

About your mission

In this role, somewhere in-between IT and finance, you work to ensure world-class support, maintenance and continuous development of our IT systems. With your good ability to listen and identify needs, you take the main responsibility for collecting information from our business and users regarding system-related issues and improvements – while also setting necessary demands towards our users and following up on them. With an understanding of the impact of failure in our global and essential operations, you strive to ensure corrective and preventive actions.

This includes:

  • Operational IT support towards business key-users and other stakeholders
  • Coordination of all IT related changes from relevant stakeholders
  • Establishing requirement specifications and directives for development and maintenance of IT systems
  • Signoff on acceptance testing, user education and user documentation
  • Review, update and reporting of our internal ITGC controls

You report to the Manager of Treasury Intragroup Services with a dotted line to the Manager of Treasury IT. We offer flexible working conditions, while the main location for this job is at our group headquarters in central Stockholm.

Your background and character

We’re looking for someone with a couple years’ experience within IT, finance, or economics – maybe you’ve been working with IT and internal system responsibility in the finance or banking sector, or the other way around. The key is that you combine an understanding of IT systems and finance. As we’re a global business, you need to speak and write both English and Swedish fluently.

Your personality is what makes the difference, characterized by great networking and stakeholder management skills. You combine this with a general curiosity, detail-focus and business-mind. You thrive when you get to switch between a helicopter view and deep details, and your hands-on and agile ways help you when handling situations ad-hoc.
