We’re now looking for a Solution Architect to strengthen the IT function within our Windows and Mobility department to focus on innovation initiatives within our supply function.
We welcome you to a curious and open environment where business stakeholders, IT, and suppliers with various backgrounds and nationalities together strive to find the best solutions. We’re at the forefront of adopting new technology and have several exciting initiatives in our pipeline. By close collaboration with our partners, we get a unique early insight into new functionality and the possibility to create the roadmap of new products. You will play a central role in this setup.
So, what’s this job all about?
As our next Solution Architect, you review our current technology architecture landscape and seek ways to leverage, improve and extend our corporate technology investments with your agile team members. You map business requirements into technology solutions through interaction with our business, solution stakeholders, vendors, and industry experts. You’re active and taking the lead in development activities, ensuring that these requirements and strategies are successfully translated into new solutions. To ensure successful implementation, you collaborate with the product teams and confirm that the systems are completely evolved and delivered as finished and maintainable.
You support the establishment of roadmaps for the area to ensure a long-term sustainable life cycle for the new products being brought to the market. In addition, you conduct research on new and emerging technologies for practical application to business problems and strategic initiatives in the context of assigned work efforts.
The preferred work location for this role is at our site in Sandviken, although the right candidate has the option to work from Kista.
You’re a senior and self-going Solution Architect with experience working in a development lead role – preferably within the manufacturing industry or with connection to Industry 4.0 and IIOT. You have technical competence in
- Azure DevOps (Sourcecode management/boards/build- and release pipelines)
While AI and reporting solutions are beneficial but not a requirement. Your experience is backed by an IT degree or the equivalent knowledge gained from a working career. As our corporate language is English, fluency is required.

Thinking big and acting small – you’re tackling the minor details on a consistent basis to reach the final goal.
