Sandvik Group Functions IT provides Sandvik’s various business areas with IT infrastructure, systems and business-critical solutions. Together, we manage several system deliveries and customer requests within IT, and we work closely with our customers to ensure satisfaction with our services. To actively safeguard our information and to control management of information security risks, we’re now looking for a Data Privacy Specialist to join our team – an experienced and driven professional who’s up for making a true difference for our future ways of working.

About the job

In this role, you ensure the implementation and adherence of Sandvik’s Data Privacy Policy and guidelines for end users, information and system owners. You also ensure that daily operational fulfillment of GDPR requirements are met through continuously improved ways of working. Other important parts of the job include:

  • Providing hands-on support to Process-/System-/Information owners by defining business requirements regarding Data Privacy legislation and offer hands-on operational support
  • Conducting Data Privacy Impact Assessments and Process Activity Mappings to safeguard that major initiatives are compliant from both Data Privacy- and Information Security perspectives
  • Advising relevant stakeholders in Data Privacy matters.

The location for this position is in either Sandviken or Kista, Stockholm.

Your background and character

We’re looking for someone with extensive experience from working with data privacy, and especially hands-one experience from working with data privacy in a global environment. This means that you’ve established great relationships with other experts in the field, and have the ability to explain complex information and legislation in a clear manner. Knowledge of the Sandvik organization and experience from using OneTrust is a plus. You have fluent skills in both written and verbal English, while skills in other languages used within the Group is considered a plus.
