Strategy & Business Support, a part of Sandvik IT Services (SITS), has the mission to support and coach the SITS organization – aiming to enable self-organizing and agile teams.

Right now, we’re looking for a manager for one of the teams, Service Support, to lead this highly competent and dedicated team. Your mission

In this position, you lead, develop and collaborate with your team to become the center of gravity for all matters in supporting SITS in delivering our IT Services to Sandvik. This includes working with the business and process development, service management and quality You set objectives, targets and development plans for your team and follow up on them. You balance strategic topics with day-to-day planning and execution, and you’re an active part of the daily work of your team.

Other important parts of your daily work:

  • Driving cross department collaboration and communities with focus on good stakeholder relations
  • Improving ways of working, control, reporting and compliancy to fit self-organizing teams and an agile organization
  • Continuous improvements, increased efficiency and value for our service owners and customers
  • Development activities and projects to improve SITS

This position is located in Stockholm (Kista) or Sandviken, Sweden.

You’re a mature and humble leader, who shows a genuine interest in your team members and in helping them evolve to their full capacity. Being a curious team player with a genuine passion for continuous improvements, you set a good example by taking an active part in the daily work while staying on top of coaching and challenging your coworkers. An important aspect of this is your ability to be inclusive, cooperative and responsive.

While experience with agile methods is beneficial, we’d rather hire you for your soft skills and your customer-centric can do-attitude. Another requirement is, of course, knowledge in the area of IT strategy, quality, business and process development and/or service management. You oversee and study the ability to optimize the way we work and increase the value we add to our customers.

We’re looking for someone with at least seven years’ relevant experience within IT, or an equivalent leading role. We believe you have a degree within business development, service management or similar area. You’re fluent in both written and verbal English, while knowledge of Swedish in considered a big plus.
