Do you want to join an industry leader within cybersecurity and drive important, cutting-edge projects? Then we have the perfect opening for you!

To stay ahead of the game, Sandvik IT is right now transforming the Cybersecurity organization from a small department to a state-of-the-art resilience center – an enabler for our global, tech-savvy business. We’re now looking for an experienced Solution Architect for Identity Services to join us – a open-minded problem solver with a doers’ attitude.

What’s in it for you?

We’re proud of the industry leading position we hold when it comes to cybersecurity, but we’re even more thrilled to offer you a feedback-friendly arena where people support each other, learn together and celebrate differences. You get a lot of freedom to shape your own work and it’s truly developing – both for your own career path and for the balance between work and family life. Simply put: a great place to work!

Listen to what your new manager Mona got to say about the team:

So, let’s talk about the job

In this role, you’re one of our key experts. You’re responsible for designing, maintaining and improving our Identity and Access Management services and products to successfully fit our service strategy. This includes to:

  • Identify customer needs to define which solutions, processes and competencies to focus on
  • Form technical roadmaps, life-cycle management for the service and our future service strategy together with fellow architects
  • Ensure that the IAM services align with customer requirements and our overall architectural framework, IT principles and policies

By coaching and inspiring our developers, you lead their way forward in developing our products to a new level. You’re also an important link between our stakeholders and the component members of our architect community, and you work in close relation with your manager and the service architect to ensure success in every area related to our work.

Where’s the office?

While this position offers flexible working conditions, your base is in either Sandviken or Kista (Stockholm). As your colleagues and our partners are spread across different locations, some travel could be included during normal circumstances.

What we need from you

As much as we truly value your passion for change and the ability to switch between details and the bigger picture, you obviously need previous experience from the field. To thrive in this role, we see that you have:

  • Extensive experience from Identity and Access Management architecture and Identity Governance
  • Broad understanding of how the technologies within this area can add value to our business
  • A university degree within Computer Science, or equivalent experience

Knowledge from NetIQ Identity Manager platform is a plus. You easily communicate with people and build trusting relations, and you’re skilled in explaining technical information in ways that makes sense for everyone. You’re comfortable challenging us when you find it necessary and, with your networking and collaboration skills, you easily interact with partners and stakeholders. Naturally, this means that you communicate fluently in English, while knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.
