The role

As a Compensation & Benefit Analyst your main responsibility is to design and implement compensation and benefit programs in the organization to meet the objectives for internal equity and external market competitiveness, all in line with guidelines from Sandvik Group and country level. You will provide expertise and advice regarding compensation and benefits to internal stakeholders.

This role is a full-time requirement, however Sandvik recognises the desire for flexible working options. Flexible employment arrangements include condensed working weeks, working from home, flexible start/finish times, etc.

Areas of responsibility

  • Design, implement and operate a compensation and benefits program to meet objectives for internal equity and external market competitiveness.
  • Provide expertise and advice regarding compensation and benefits for new and existing positions within Sandvik
  • Analyse and evaluate internal data for Sandvik employees and provide advice for future needs along with external market data to develop salary budgets and forecasts.
  • Collect internal and external data to conduct compensation analysis to provide input into managerial decisions. About Sandvik’s compensation programs.
  • Conduct job evaluations, build salary structures connected to Career framework, lead salary mapping initiaticves and handle negotiations connected to various salary issues.
  • Drive and participate in annual salary review program, identify system requirements, assess market competitiveness and cost-effective salary program consistent with Sandvik’s compensation philosophy.
  • Ensure compliance with global and local policies and take full ownership of the HR delivery in the area of responsibility by working in close cooperation with our global and local HR organisation, in order to ensure a business-close HR support.

Your profile

You have a tertiary education in HR/Business Administration and 5+ years’ experience in Remuneration and Benefits within a large, complex organization. You are familiar with various types of incentives and benefits and have current practice of developing and implementing Remuneration strategies and programs. You are highly analytical and skilled in Excel with excellent attention to detail.

You are able to work with multiple stakeholders, and comfortable presenting reports and research to Management to enable budgeting and forecasting. You have a working knowledge of local labour rules and negotiations.

You have high integrity in dealing with confidential information and are able to work within a global organisation.
