What you’ll do

In this role, you shape our journey towards a successful IT talent pool by creating and implementing strategies regarding workforce, location, upskilling, talent management and employer branding. You initiate and manage transformation and change processes from an inclusive perspective – leading a virtual team of HR managers in our different Business Areas and Sandvik IT Services to collaborate and drive this transformation together. You define the roadmap together with the virtual team and drive activities with internal and external resources.

Together with a federated team of HR colleagues you also:

  • establish processes for strategic workforce planning
  • create an upskilling strategy and execute it
  • create an employer branding strategy and execute it
  • collaborate with Business Areas and Sandvk Infrastructure and Technology (SITS) HR to create an IT leadership talent pool
  • support with change management in our agile transformation

Where you’ll work

We would prefer to see you seated in Stockholm or Sandviken as it includes some presence at both sites, although other international locations could be considered for the right candidate.


Who you are

To thrive in this role, you need extensive experience from working with HR in a strategic and transformational role in an international context, where you’ve acquired:

  • broad knowledge of strategic HR and development of workforce and competence strategies
  • experience from change management and leading a changing organization
  • experience from driving HR projects and employer branding
  • basic knowledge and understanding of ERP, Cloud and agile ways of working
  • extensive coaching and facilitating skills
  • basic understanding of technology and digitalization

It’s a plus if you also have experience from driving graduate programs. Your experience is backed by a degree in HR or other relevant field, and as we’re a global company, you need excellent communication skills in English.
