Kanthal is looking for a Human Resources Manager in Concord, NC

Your mission

  • Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, employee relations, etc.
  • Lead and fully execute key initiatives that support Kanthal strategies
  • Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
  • Accurately diagnose organization issues, develop solutions, and implement action plans
  • Understand the business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspective
  • Design and execute staffing strategies for exempt/non-exempt hiring needs
  • Develop and execute team strategies to improve Organizational Health and culture
  • Lead and participate in team Diversity & Inclusion initiatives
  • Effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Direct change management and organizational development

Your profile

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human resources, labor relations, organizational development, business or related area. Relevant work experience may be a substitute
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager
  • Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives
  • Familiarity with both Workday and Dayforce
  • Must have the ability to think and work independently, take initiative, and make the right tradeoff decisions as it relates to projects or HR processes
  • Must be a confident communicator, (including both written and verbal skills) and must be able to effectively present to all levels of the organization
  • Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices
  • A business acumen partnered with attention to the human element
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Diligent and firm with high ethical standards
  • Understanding of, and some experience with, most or all of the core aspects of Human Resource Management (staffing; employee relations; performance management; leadership development; training)
  • Previous talent management and succession planning experience preferred
  • Courage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professionalism and poise
  • Strong expertise in developing solutions based upon facts/data analytics
  • Must possess consultative style and approach with proven ability to develop credible relationships with business partners
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint/Excel/Word
