This position holds a key role for our local HR delivery and is a part of the team that is driving common HR strategies within the Sales Area Americas group. This position will report to the HRBP for Sales Area Americas, the location is flexible within the US and in Canada.

Key performance areas
Working as a Strategic HR Professional with us includes both operational and strategic HR work. It will involve building confidence in HR throughout the organization, in alignment to business needs and priorities.
You will be responsible for implementing the organization's human resource strategy so that the organization attracts, manages, develops and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future business objectives. In this role you will liaise with functional or operational area managers, employees, and their representatives to investigate and resolve employee grievances and develop strategies to prevent their recurrence in order to maintain a productive and harmonious workplace.
You will be a key member of the Regional Sales management team and drive solutions to increase resource efficiency through competence development plans as well as support the managers with leadership coaching or advice where required.
The successful candidate will bring strong business acumen, broad HR experience, a passion for building teams and structure and the ability to form strong partnerships with business customers and partners. You’ll how to motivate people and to strive for excellence in delivery.

We are looking for someone with a university degree, preferably Business or Human Resources, or equivalent knowledge gained through a minimum of 3-5 years of HR working experience, with a proven track record and strong demonstrated leadership capabilities. To be successful in the role you will need to have a solid knowledge of the business market, basic employee relations principles, as well as strong ability to drive change initiatives and implement HR processes.
Experience in HR Policy & Strategy, Interpersonal Relations, HR Legal and Regulatory compliance, Performance and Compensation Management, Talent Development, Leadership, and Employee Relations are required. Experience in providing HR support to a Sales Organization and international teams is preferred.
