HR Business Partner
Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology is a business area in the Sandvik Group and leading supplier of equipment and tools, service and support for the mining industry. We also provide solutions and knowledge in a wide range of applications such as quarrying, recycling, demolition, tunneling, civil engineering and dimensional stone.
Division Underground Drilling within Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology has end-to-end responsibility for Underground Drills business in mining and tunneling. We are currently looking for a proactive and business-oriented HR Business Partner. The position is based in Tampere, Finland.
As a HR Business Partner, you will have overall responsibility of HR strategy and daily HR activities for PU Tampere Underground Drilling Supply Operations. You develop and secure the implementation of our people strategy, and ensure compliance with global policies, local legislation and labor agreements. You also manage core HR policies and processes, such as Talent and Succession Management, Performance Management, Diversity and Inclusion and Resourcing in cooperation with Site HR Manager and local HR Service center. You will be working in Global HR projects supporting the whole Division to achieve the business needs. You will report to Operations Manager and with dotted line to Division HR Director. You are member of the PU Tampere Underground Drilling Supply Operations management team.
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for someone with a university degree preferably in HR and at least five years’ experience from HR field. We place great value on your personal qualities, characterized by a combination of integrity and confidence. You work effectively in a team and have passion to develop high-performing organization with future oriented mindset and your way of working is proactive. You have a genuine interest in our business and clearly understand and express how HR supports the business needs. You are experienced in managing challenging work place situations, union relations and flexibility systems regarding manning. You have excellent knowledge of Finnish labour law. As a role model in people management, you bring an inclusive perspective and have a strong ability to influence others. As we operate in an international setting, you have excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, both verbally and in writing.
