Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions (SMF) is a business area segment with around 600 employees worldwide, incorporating the Additive Manufacturing, Metrology and Design & Planning Automation divisions. SMF develops offers to help customers become even more productive and sustainable by providing seamless software and additive solutions from component design to quality verification. Our ambition is to develop and acquire companies that complement our strong machining solutions offer (managed by our sister business area segment Sandvik Machining Solutions - SMS) to be able to expand, strengthen and find new business opportunities to grow our total business portfolio. Your main mission is to enhance organizational performance from an HR perspective and in alignment with business needs. You guide and advise us as you take full ownership of the HR delivery and you develop and implement an HR strategy closely linked to our overall strategy. You promote an HR way of working that supports innovation and commercialization, and you ensure global talent acquisitions to attract and keep the competences we need for future enhancement. You’re also responsible for a wide range of HR matters and core processes in a growing organization - such as diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, talent acquisition, succession planning and performance management.
Acting in a global business environment with many exciting encounters, you’re the number one promoter of excellent collaborations. You develop networks and establish partnerships, both internally and with relevant industries and universities, and you interact with HR contacts in the wider business to ensure synergies and share knowledge. As part of our growth ambition includes mergers and acquisitions, you’re highly involved in these processes and the following integration work of acquired companies.
You report directly to the President of Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions and are a valued member of SMF Management team. You will also be a part of the HR Management team for Sandvik. The location for this position is at our new office site in Stockholm – a place for mixing tech innovation with the core of machining - and international travel is included in your job.
Your background includes a relevant master’s degree, combined with solid experience from the field of HR. Specific work experience from a global role within Sandvik is highly valued, in order to get a smooth start and really thrive in this role. You’ve previously been working with HR strategies, and you’re skilled in building teams, developing people and setting ways of working. Experiences from HR processes are necessary, and you know the strategies behind successful change management, HR projects and implementation of new initiatives. You’re also eager to understand the challenges and opportunities of HR in a digital arena. As we’re a global player, you naturally need advanced communication skills in English.
You’re a good listener, a committed doer and an exceptional communicator – someone who easily interact with people from different cultures and backgrounds. You handle and resolve issues, deliver results and encourage improvements. Acting as a role model in relation to people management is in your DNA, and you take pride in bringing an inclusive perspective to your work. Your inspiring ways leaves a positive impact as you set a clear direction for HR and, quite simply, you speak business from an HR perspective!
