Business Controller

We are currently looking for a Business Controller to join the Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions team at our work center in San Fernando de Henares (Madrid).
JOB PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position will be: Sandvik Española SA SMR businesses reporting and controlling. Ensure timely reporting of the consolidated actual performance, forecasts and targets whilst supporting the operations with analysis, advise and tools to optimize performance.
This position will report to the Territory Business Control for Spain & Portugal
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
Accounting and data integrity: Leading Accounting closing and Financial Reporting and being responsible of the data accuracy Financial planning. Be a relevant part of the forecasting team Business support, including training to other areas of the company Internal Control: Leading the Internal Control procedures Reporting: Continuous improving of the existing reportings and proactive development of any new one that can help to the Business Compliance: Assuring that Group Policies and rules are respected in the territory Business Support: This is the most important responsibility, being fully aware about the importance of Business Control department in the develop of the Company and supporting the rest of departments Support / co-ordinate with other departments to accomplish initiatives from Territory level
REQUIRED COMPETENCES:
Business Knowledge and Problem Solving: Solving problems in simple situations and demonstrative ability to provide professional judgement in complex financial matters (Advanced)
Impact: Strong focus on business efficiency and understanding the organization’s external environment (Advanced)
Familiarity with finance reporting (PBI, ERP, etc…) and statistical analysis software (Advanced)
Leadership: No supervisory responsibilities but provides informal guidance to team members. (Advanced)
Demonstrative Financial knowledge. (Advanced)
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and use suitable methods, tools and processes. Contribute to sharing of best practice within own area.
EXPERIENCE:
More than 3 years in the similar role
Relevant experiences to the Responsibilities and Competencies
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a business studies or certification in Finance Economics or related field, or equivalent demonstrated knowledge / preparation / expertise
